How DataTeach.ai collects, uses and protects your personal information.

Last updated: 3 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how DataTeach.ai ("DataTeach.ai", "we", "us" or "our") handles personal information when you visit www.datateach.ai and its related platforms, enquire about our programs, take part in our learning tools, or respond to our advertisements on Facebook, Instagram or Google. By using our services or submitting your details, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who we are

DataTeach.ai is an AI and Data Science education company based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. We offer training programs in Data Science, Data Analytics, Generative AI, Agentic AI, Python and related fields. For the purposes of applicable data-protection law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, DataTeach.ai is the entity responsible for your personal data.

This policy also covers our related platforms, including our learning platform (learn.datateach.ai) and coding practice platform (code.datateach.ai).

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Enquiry and contact details — your name, phone number, email address, city, the course you are interested in and any message you send us through our website forms.
  • Lead form responses — the details you submit through our advertisements on Facebook, Instagram or Google (see section 4).
  • Resource downloads — your name, email and phone number when you download study material such as interview-preparation guides.
  • Learning tools — information you provide when you use features such as our AI Mock Interview, including your answers and the interview topic you choose.
  • Account information — if you create an account, your name, email address and login details. If you sign in with Google, we receive your basic profile information (name, email and profile picture) from Google.
  • Enrolment information — if you join a program, details needed to enrol you, track your progress and issue certificates.

Information collected automatically

When you visit our website we may automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited and the referring website or advertising campaign (for example, UTM tags).

3. How we use your information

  • To respond to your enquiry and have a counsellor contact you by phone, WhatsApp, SMS or email about the programs you asked about.
  • To provide course information, brochures, batch schedules, demo classes and fee details.
  • To enrol you in programs, deliver training, track progress and issue certificates.
  • To provide and improve our learning tools, such as AI Mock Interviews and coding practice.
  • To manage our relationship with you in our internal customer relationship management (CRM) system.
  • To understand which channels and campaigns bring enquiries, and to improve our website and services.
  • To send updates about new programs, events and offers — you can opt out at any time.
  • To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Facebook, Instagram & Google lead forms

We run advertisements on Facebook and Instagram (Meta Platforms) and on Google that may include a lead form. When you submit one of these forms, the platform shares the information you entered — such as your name, phone number, email address, city and answers to the form's questions — with DataTeach.ai, together with details of the advertisement you responded to.

We receive this information securely and store it in our CRM so that a DataTeach.ai counsellor can contact you about the program you enquired about. We use it only for the purposes described in this policy. The way Meta and Google handle your data on their own platforms is governed by their respective privacy policies.

5. How we share information

We share personal information only where necessary, with:

  • Our team — counsellors and staff who need it to assist you with your enquiry or enrolment.
  • Service providers — trusted companies that help us operate, such as website and database hosting, email delivery, messaging and communication tools, and AI services used by our learning tools. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
  • Legal and safety — authorities or other parties where required by law or to protect the rights, safety and property of DataTeach.ai, our students or others.

6. Cookies & analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, understand how visitors use the site and measure the performance of our advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect how the site works.

7. How long we keep data

We keep enquiry and lead information for as long as needed to respond to you and follow up on your interest, and student records for as long as needed to deliver our programs, issue and verify certificates, and meet legal, accounting or reporting requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls that limit data to authorised staff, and secure storage of credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will act promptly if a problem arises.

9. Your rights & choices

Subject to applicable law, you can:

  • Ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct or update inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Ask us to delete your personal data.
  • Withdraw your consent to being contacted, at any time.
  • Opt out of marketing messages — reply "STOP" to our messages or contact us.
  • Raise a grievance with us, and if unresolved, with the Data Protection Board of India.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in section 13.

10. Data deletion requests

You can ask us to delete all personal data we hold about you — including information received through our website, Facebook or Instagram lead forms or Google lead forms — at any time:

  1. Email info@datateach.ai with the subject "Data deletion request".
  2. Include the name and the phone number or email address you used, so we can find your records.
  3. We will confirm your request and delete your data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to keep certain records (for example, payment records). We will tell you if that applies.

11. Children

Our services are intended for students, graduates and working professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18 without the consent of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has given us their data, please contact us and we will delete it.
